Dallas Area Express Lane Conversion Program
Deputy project manager for the conversion of four HOV corridors in the Dallas area to High Occupancy Toll (Express) Lanes. These corridors – I-30 (east), I-35E (south) / US 67, US 75, and I-635 (east) have different operational parameters, making an interconnected network a challenge. This program intended to implement the HOT lanes concurrent with the opening of the I-635 (LBJ) managed lanes project in 2014; however, subsequent to the project, the regional HOV system was transferred to the Texas Department of Transportation for broader implementation context.
